Kathy and Bruce Weber

Donor WeberKathy and Bruce Weber planted themselves firmly in Desert Botanical Garden immediately upon moving to Arizona. After their first visit they became members, enrolled in volunteer botany training and enlisted as volunteers. They helped with the Dinner on the Desert gala and planted their own home garden. Later, the Garden's website benefitted from Bruce's marketing expertise. He served as a member of the Garden's Board of Directors and helping to plan for the Garden's 75th Anniversary.

The Webers describe Desert Botanical Garden as "a unique, inspiring setting that is uplifting, quiet and calm." They applaud its passion for preservation, creation of new, innovative programs and extensive work with the community.

The Webers' commitment to the community is evident. In addition to the Garden, Bruce, Kathy and their two daughters support several arts and cultural organizations, animal rescues, and charities that advocate for children.

Today, the Garden benefits from their extraordinary involvement. Tomorrow, the Webers' estate plan will help to insure the Garden's future and preserve a delicate natural environment for generations to come. Bruce urges others to sustain the Garden, too. "Just do it. Preserve the planet. Be good stewards of your assets with the assurance that the Garden will use them wisely in the future."
